ARPÓN® Premium is a water-emulsifiable insecticide specifically formulated for use in the food industry. Its active ingredient, cipermetrin, is a contact acaricide/insecticide belonging to the type II pyrethroids, characterized by the presence of an alpha-cyano group in their molecule. Type II pyrethroids primarily affect the sodium channels in neuronal membranes, causing a prolonged transient impermeability of the membrane to sodium during nerve stimulation. This action leads to rapid paralysis in the insect. Cipermetrin exhibits fast and persistent effects.
The efficacy of this insecticide in the food industry has been supported by studies for the elimination of:
- Flies
- Mosquitoes
- Fleas
- Lice
- Ticks
- Wasps
- Cockroaches
- Red mites and other insects
The insect’s death is a result of paralysis, preceded by motor incoordination, at any stage of its life cycle.
Instructions for use:
ARPÓN® Premium should be diluted in water at a rate of 0.5-1% (equivalent to diluting 50-100 ml of ARPÓN Premium per 10 L of water). It should be sprayed on walls, ceilings, floors, windows, etc., at a rate of 5 L of the prepared emulsion per 100 m2 of smooth surfaces, and 10 L of the prepared emulsion per 100 m2 of porous surfaces.
This insecticide for the food industry should be used exclusively by specialized personnel.
